July Tour de Brew | CASA

Join us for the Tour de Brew LNK 2019 season. This charitable fundraiser is a fun, laid back bike ride featuring craft beer, community and of course prizes. Since our first season in 2014 Tour de Brew LNK riders have raised over $40,000 for local non-profits. The 2019 season packs a punch with the addition of a food truck rally and LIVE music at The LOT.

July 18th we will be riding for CASA for Lancaster County

CASA volunteers advocate on the behalf of children who are before the court because they have experienced abuse or neglect. Most of the children they serve are in foster care.

HOW IT WORKS:
►First, register to ride and enjoy free samples at Moran's Liquor Works. Don't forget to collect your first raffle ticket! Registration is from 4:30 -6:00 pm and cost a $5 donation to the charity of the month.

►Then, ride at your own pace to Cycle Works for some beers and check in for your second raffle ticket. Beer flows from 4:45 to 6:45.

**NEW in 2019**
►Next, ride down to The LOT located at Empyrean Brewing Co's warehouse on the corner of 8th & L Street (726 L Street) where you will be greeted with a facade of Food Trucks, Craft Beer, Yard Games, Live Music and friends both old & new. Collect your last raffle ticket for three chances to win great prizes. Drawing starts at 9 and beer flows from 5:30 to 10pm. Live Music 7-9PM
---For more information check out The LOT's Website here:
http://www.moransliquor.com/thelot.html

We also welcome BicycLincoln to Tour de Brew this year, who will be on hand with info on all that they do for our amazing Bicycle Community. As well, they will be raising funds to advocate for Lincoln's bicyclists with raffle tickets for a bicycle give-away!

Cranksgiving!

Cranksgiving!

Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels. Part bike ride, part food drive, part scavenger hunt, it has been held annually in New York City since 1999, initially by bicycle messengers.

Bring a bike, a bag, a lock, and about $15-$20 to buy food. All of the food collected at grocery stores benefit your local charity, the Bellevue Food Pantry, to help provide needy families with a wealth of food during the week of Thanksgiving. First of all, riders must use bicycles as their only means of transportation. After all, why would you call it "Cranks-giving" if cycling was not involved? Secondly, no entry fee or registration charge is collected! The point of the ride is for charity, so we're doing it out of the kindness of our little cycling hearts! ♥ So join us! You don't have to be a member so don't worry about that, but if you have fun and like us, check out our rides and monthly meetings!
