Omaha Women's Triathlon, Duathlon & 5k Run

The Omaha Women’s Triathlon aspires to bring women together as a community by offering a supportive, energetic and empowering environment for females pursuing a healthy and active lifestyle. This special event is designed especially for women of all athletic ability — whether new to multisport or an experienced athlete.

This event is held at Lawrence Youngman Lake, near 192nd and Dodge. This Sprint Distance “Women’s Only” Triathlon event consists of a 750m swim, a 20km bike, and a 5K run. Thousands of spectators will come to cheer on the women of Omaha. Don’t miss out on the fun!

We also have a 5K run and Duathlon as part of the Women’s Triathlon.

SWIM – 750 M ( .5 MILE)
Out-and-back swim at Lawrence Youngman Lake.

BIKE – 20 KM (12.4 MILE)
This is an out-and-back course – 192nd to Honeysuckle Drive, to Skyline Dr to Center and back. This is a new route for 2017!

RUN – 5 KM (3.1 MILE)
5K out-and-back course. North on 192nd St, East on Old Lincoln Highway, and back.

*This is the course for the Triathlon, Duathlon and 5K run.

TEAMS – Competing as a member of a relay team is a great introduction to the sport of triathlon. Teams may have either two or three athletes participate.

Omaha Duathlon at NP Dodge Park

Join TotalWellness, Race Omaha, Omaha Women's Triathlon and Omaha Triathlon at the 7th Annual Omaha Duathlon.

The ideal catalyst for future triathletes — and for those who prefer land over water — the Omaha Duathlon combines running and biking for a rewarding, multi-sport experience. The race is held at NP Dodge Park which is a 445-acre park along the Missouri river.

This early season race is also the perfect race to start off the season and measure your winter training efforts. The Omaha Duathlon has ideal temperatures and a festive atmosphere after the race.

You have the option to register for the individual race or the team relay. Both individual and team distances are the same: 2 Mile Run, 15 Mile Bike Ride, 2 Mile Run.


RUN – The Run Course is an out-and-back route. All athletes will start from Dodge Park and run through the park onto John J Pershing Dr. Continue on the road to the turnaround and then back to the transition area.

BIKE – The bike course is an out-and-back route. All athletes will transition and ride 15 miles on Rd P51.

TEAM EVENTS – The Race Omaha Duathlon offers an individual race and team relay. Teams of two athletes may participate.
