Cornhusker State Games - Mountain Bike Race

The CSG Mountain Bike Race is part of the 2017 Psycowpath Series to encourage more participation in both events.

Racers competing will follow all CSG rules. This is their event but Psycowpath racers will earn points towards their personal series standings. There is no Marathon class so only XC points will be given.

REGISTER BY THE DISCOUNT DEADLINE OF WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21: First event, all ages - $34 Additional events - $10 (gravel grinder or tour - no Psycowpath points given for these events)

REGISTER BETWEEN JUNE 22 AND JULY 5: First event, all ages - $39 Additional events - $10 (gravel grinder or tour - no Psycowpath points given for these events)

MULTI-EVENT DISCOUNT NOTE: If registering for multiple events, all entries must occur in the same transaction to receive the multi-event discount.

MULTI-EVENT CYCLING DISCOUNT: All Mountain Bike participants who register for Gravel Grinder and/or Tour will receive a $7 discount per additional event by entering coupon code CYCLE at checkout. All registrations must take place on the same transaction to receive the discount.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition in the 2017 Cornhusker State Games; White cotton athlete shirt (micro-fiber upgrade available); Pass for free admission to SportFest, the Opening Ceremonies, and all competition venues; 2017 Nebraska Sports Council Yearbook (available at packet pickup); Sponsor gifts and coupons.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE NOTE: Racers must check in at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Check In Opens – 6:30 a.m. Junior 12 & Under Class – 7:30 a.m. Beginner/Novice Class – 8 a.m. Sport/Expert Classes – 10 a.m.

SPECIAL NOTICE: State park permits are needed to enter Branched Oak State Recreation Area. One-day permits can be purchased at the park entrance.

COMPETITION LOCATION: The mountain bike course will be at AREA 7 at Branched Oak Lake. The course includes some rolling hills with a combination of dirt and grass surfaces. Distances listed are subject to change.

RULES: All riders must wear ANSI-approved helmets. Riders are expected to ride safely and courteously. Director may shorten the distances in case of inclement weather.
