2018 National Bike Challenge Kick-Off Party at White Elm Brewing

  • White Elm Brewing Co. 720 Van Dorn Street Lincoln, NE, 68502 United States (map)

Join us as we prepare to defend Lincoln's back to back 1st place finishes as the top riding city in the National Bike Challenge!

Our gracious hosts at White Elm will have bike parking available for everyone inside the brewery, their world class beers on tap, non-alcoholic options, and Pepe will be serving his delicious food!

What's the National Bike Challenge? It's a yearly nationwide bike riding challenge for all levels of riders going from May 1st through September 30th. Participants are rewarded with points for both the number of MILES and DAYS you ride, and raffle tickets for big prizes at our End of Challenge Party for logging your rides.

Vetrans of the bike challenge know from years past that there are always changes in how you log your miles and compete against friends, and this year is no different. The BicycLincoln team will be ready to guide you through the new processes and answer questions you may have.

We will have stations set up addressing the following topics:
- Changes with 2018 challenge
- NBC sign-up and teams
- Using mobiles for logging and navigation
- Garmins and other bike computers

If you have questions about using your bike for transportation, or if you would like to meet area group ride leaders, please stop in. If you are a group ride leader or organizer, please contact us. We want to help people make connections.
